Education and Training
To become a chiropractor, a person is required to complete a bachelor’s program (B.Sc), so they can be eligible for chiropractic school. In comparison, doctors need a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a medical school. They must have a bachelor’s degree to be eligible to enter medical school. During medical school, students can be required to take a medical license examination. Once they obtain a license, they can pursue residency training and specialize in any medical field. In most cases, doctors can also be required to complete an internship before they can pursue residency or specialization.
