Informed Arab pharmaceutical sources said that the pharmaceuticals markets in seven Arab countries achieved sales in the first half of this year through the “private sector” at a value of $9.1 billion, with an average growth rate of about 9.7%.
The sources added, in exclusive statements that the Egyptian pharmaceuticals market came in the first place as the highest-selling Arab pharmaceutical market through the “private sector”, then the pharmaceuticals market in Saudi Arabia came in second place, followed by pharmaceuticals markets in the countries of Algeria, the UAE, Tunisia, Kuwait, and Jordan, respectively.
Egyptian Pharmaceuticals market 2021
The Egyptian Pharmaceuticals market achieved a sales volume of $2.5 billion, during the first half of this year, by 7.2%, while it achieved sales during the month of June with a value of $430 million, while it achieved sales during the period from June 2020 to June 2021, with a value of 5.3 billion dollars, at a growth of 7.9%.
Saudi Pharmaceuticals market 2021
The sources indicated that the Saudi Pharmaceuticals market achieved sales during the first half of this year, worth $2.489 billion, with a growth rate of 7%, compared to sales of $2.327 billion during the same period in 2020, and about $2.152 billion in the same period of 2019.
Algerian Pharmaceuticals market 2021
The sources noted that the Algerian Pharmaceuticals market achieved during the first half of the year, sales of 1.739 billion dollars, with a growth rate of 1%, compared to sales of 1.734 billion dollars during the same period in 2020, and about 1.845 billion dollars in the same period of 2019.

The sources said that the UAE Pharmaceuticals market achieved sales during the period from January to last June at a value of 1.368 billion dollars, a growth rate of 12%, compared to sales of 1.216 billion dollars during the same period in 2020, and about 1.245 billion dollars in the same period of 2019.

The sources indicated that the Kuwaiti Pharmaceuticals market achieved sales during the period from January to last June at a value of $328.4 million, with a growth rate of 21%, compared to sales of $289 million during the same period in 2020, and about $218.8 million in the same period in 2019.
