The Saudi Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company signed an agreement with 3 companies from Finland, Spain, and China, in the field of medical manufacturing, technical solutions, and healthcare, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The agreement aims to localize the medical device industry and transfer its technologies to the Kingdom.
The manufacturing process is scheduled to take place at the Al-Dawaa Company for Medical Services factory in Sudair Industrial City.
The agreement was signed as part of the Saudi Industry Pavilion’s participation in the Arab Health Exhibition 2022, which is being held in Dubai.
Last Sunday, Al-Dawaa Health Services announced its intention to offer 30% of its shares for public subscription and to be listed on the Saudi market, Tadawul, and the process of building the order book is scheduled to begin on February 13, according to the company’s website.
Al-Dawaa for Medical Services, established in 1991, has a large pharmacy network in Saudi Arabia that includes more than 800 pharmacies, in addition to wholesale and online channels.
